All our valuations are done individually and personally by a human based on mileage, condition, standard specification, optional specification and service history as we know that no two used cars are ever identical. We will always be transparent and fair and once we have inspected your car our valuations are always accurate and genuine. The price we say is the price we pay.
Unlike We Buy Any Car and other car buying sites we do not charge admin fees which can be in excess of £200.00 just for the transaction. They want even more if you want to be paid in a timely manner.
You arrange the appointment to suit you and if you wish to proceed we can buy and remove your car on the same day.
We are happy to buy cars with outstanding finance which we settle directly with the finance company. Simple and straightforward.
We know they are there but we also know we offer a much better service and a much better deal. Aside from the ‘admin’ fees they charge to buy your car and bank transfer fees they deduct to actually pay you along with the contract that they make you sign saying they can reverse their purchase of your car after they have paid you and you have left, we believe that the staff at We Buy Any Car are tasked to offer just 60% of the screen offer on the day you get there seemingly playing on the effort you would have made and hassle of bringing the car to them.
We tested this in December 2018 and were offered £2850.00 on the website for one of our company runabouts and £1300.00 when we got there. That’s quite a difference when you have wasted one and a half hours with them and an hour getting there, which we had as they had ‘double booked’ us.
It was at this point that we felt a subtle pressure from them because of the repeated references to ‘what a waste of our time it would be’ if we did not proceed with their offer there and then.
